Endress+Hauser's new TMT85 head transmitter features two input channels and FOUNDATION Fieldbus protocol for the conversion of different input signals into digital output signals. Resistance thermometers, thermocouples, resistance transmitters and voltage transmitters can all be fed through this compact device. And, for maximum versatility, it's suitable for use with 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-wire technology!

It doesn't stop there. The TMT85 head transmitter also offers sensor diagnostics: cable open circuit, cable corrosion, wiring error and device hardware error are all monitored. Better still, with galvanic isolation between fieldbus and sensor inputs and ATEX certification (Ex ia, Ex na) for hazardous area use, you can be sure of accurate and reliable temperature data in all eventualities.
